How we met and the marriage proposal: We met through close friends and once we began dating knew that we had been waiting for each other. James proposed at his family farm in Deans Marsh over a picnic with our second loves - wine and cheese.
About our wedding day: Having all our closest friends and family celebrate, support and love us was an overwhelming feeling on the day. It's a feeling we will never forget. We were lucky enough to have the fabulous team at The Style Co make our day exactly as we had dreamed of and the helped create a day which truly reflected us both.
Our wedding style: We got married at such a beautiful venue at Tanglewood Estate which was picture perfect in itself. We wanted our wedding reception to feel more like a beautiful winery restaurant. We had lots of clean lines, brass, black cement and leather. Softened by dusty peach, champagne and chocolate flowers.
Finding my wedding gown: I had no idea what I was looking to buy wedding dress when I first started the search. This was the first dress I tried on at Suzanne Harward and it was unlike anything I had tried on before. It felt perfect straight away.
First dance song: We chose 'Pocket Full of Rainbows' by Elvis for our first dance. It was a song we both loved and James has an Elvis crush, so it was a perfect choice for us.
Advice for future couples: The best advice I was given was to go and talk to guests together rather than split up which was so important. Otherwise you wouldn't see each other the whole day! The day does go incredibly fast so its important to slow down and enjoy each moment.
Couture experience at Suzanne Harward: The experience from the beginning at Suzanne Harward was such a pleasure. Each fitting I felt supported, encouraged and listened to. The quality and craftsmanship of the dress was incredible and will be something I will hold on to forever.
